The Visualization and Computer Vision Lab conducts research across a broad and constantly evolving set of applications emphasizing video surveillance, biometrics, industrial inspection, and entertainment as well as medical and biological image analysis. When addressing these challenges, we invent algorithms that extract information out of images and video.

Our technology goes into imaging devices to enhance GE products such as intelligent video cameras, medical scanners, and optical gauges. Working closely with several GE businesses and multiple government agencies, and teaming with leading academic institutions, we are pioneering the commercialization of computer vision.
