What do you like most about your job?
I have the chance to try new and interesting things. With persistent effort, it is possible to turn an idea into a real product that may change peoples’ life style and quality.
Can you explain a specific moment/time in your past when you first realized you wanted to be a scientist/engineer?
When I was a child, there was a class named “Science and Nature” that was very interesting. I loved the class and the teacher liked me also. I was able to bring home a box of small experimental stuff. It was amazing to see some phenomenon happen when you followed the instructions and then find answers/explanations with your knowledge.
What do you read over morning coffee?
I read Chemistry World.
How would you describe your job to a 5-year-old?
I am doing some work to make our sky more blue, our water more clean, our world more beautiful, and our lives even better.
What inspires you?
An enthusiasm for life, and a belief that I can do something that may change or impact the world.
