Anil joined GE Global Research in 1992 where he has been active in the fields of optical and electrical materials and devices.

In the late 1990′s, he pioneered GE’s efforts in developing electronic devices based on electro-active organic materials. He currently leads the Organic Electronics Project – one of six Advanced Technology Programs at Global Research.

Key project deliverables include the development of high performance organic light emitting devices and the enabling roll-to-roll manufacturing infrastructure including ultra-high barrier plastic film substrates. Anil earned an A.B. degree from Princeton University and a Ph.D from MIT in Physical Chemistry.
