GE Global Research’s Niskayuna facility is located on a sprawling 525-acre campus in upstate New York that is Global Research’s world headquarters and the center of GE’s research activities.
Throughout the year, the GE Global Research campus is humming with renowned guest speakers from business and academia, symposia on a wide variety of technology areas, diversity celebrations and networking events.
More than 100 laboratories are located onsite, allowing employees to research and test everything from large engines and manufacturing practices to the smallest nanotechnology experiments, and everything in between.
The Niskayuna campus offers state-of-the-art conferencing facilities, hosting thousands of customers and colleagues from the different GE business divisions each year to meet, discuss and exchange ideas on technology with GE’s technologists.
Other onsite employee amenities include a fitness center, cafeteria, credit union, medical center and the Whitney Knowledge Center library. GE Global Research is directly located on the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike trail, enabling many employees to bike to work or enjoy a walk during lunch.
